There are 58,360 new Coronavirus infections in Italy today, 18 October 2022, according to Covid data and numbers – region by region – of the Civil Protection bulletin and the Ministry of Health. There are also 113 other deaths. There are 329,569 processed swabs, including antigenic and molecular, which show a positivity rate of 17.7%. Hospitalizations are increasing (+65), intensive care is stable. DATA OF THE Lazio REGION – There are 4,710 new infections from Coronavirus today, 18 October 2022 in Lazio, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 9 deaths have been recorded in the Region. In the last 24 hours, 4,338 molecular swabs and 25,460 antigenic swabs have been processed with a positivity rate of 15.8%. There were 604 hospitalized, one less since yesterday, 37 intensive care, 2 fewer since yesterday, and 4,062 recovered in the last 24 hours. The cases in Rome city are at 2,457. The bulletin also records +284 currently positive, -7 hospitalizations (for a total of 146) and, finally, stable intensive care (for a total of 9). Sardinia – In Sardinia today, 18 October 2022, 1200 further confirmed cases of covid positivity (of which 1097 diagnosed with antigenic swab) are registered. A total of 5357 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic. There are 5 patients admitted to intensive care (like yesterday). The patients admitted to the medical area are 84 (+ 5). There are 7396 cases of home isolation (-530). There are 2 deaths: a 91-year-old woman and a 93-year-old man, residing in the provinces of South Sardinia and Oristano respectively.
