Artificial intelligence for diagnostic imaging at the Sirm Congress

The innovations introduced on the market in the last 12 months – from the new Magnifico resonance, Esaote’s first open total body system, to the latest ultrasound systems with a focus on interventional applications, up to the recent applications of the artificial intelligence (Ai) platform Suitestensa fAInd by Ebit – are ‘on display’ at the Sirm Congress (Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology), running until 9 October at the La Nuvola Congress Center in Rome. This was announced by the Esaote group – a biomedical company active in diagnostic imaging, in particular in the sectors of ultrasound, magnetic resonance and Information technology (It) for health – which with the subsidiary Ebit takes the opportunity to present diagnostic methods exclusive based on new machine learning algorithms, which elevate ultrasound technology to a new management of the exam, guided by AI. In the Medical It sector, thanks to Suitestensa fAInd (the component of Ai aimed at supporting the radiologist’s activity in the diagnosis and reporting phase) and to Suitestensa ResearchArchive (the scientific archive component dedicated to research activity) – explains a note Esaote – Ebit integrates and exceeds the normal applications of Ris-Pacs systems by connecting and putting artificial intelligence at the service of the daily workflow of doctors.
