‘Ndrangheta, 13 arrested in the province of Milan for drug trafficking

The financiers of the Provincial Commands of Pavia and Milan together with soldiers of the Scico of Rome have implemented measures delegated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Milan, against persons suspected of belonging to a criminal association aimed at drug trafficking, aggravated by mafia method, fictitious registration of assets, illegal possession and carrying of weapons. In particular, the Fiamme Gialle are carrying out a crime suspect arrest against 13 subjects and an urgent preventive seizure against two entrepreneurial activities. The investigations, as part of the ‘Metropoli – Hidden Economy’ operation, have also made it possible to reconstruct the drug routes, with kidnappings also carried out in the territory of the Swiss Confederation, extortion against defaulting customers and trafficking in weapons including war , such as Kalashnikov machine guns supplied by linked Calabrian and Balkan cells.
