A total of 1,387, out of 11,436 swabs processed, the new infections of Covid-19 recorded in Sicily today, 1 September 2022. The current positives on the island are 70,176 (601 less than yesterday). The data is contained in the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health, which shows that 1,979 were healed in a single day, while of the 9 deaths reported today (12,112 since the beginning of the pandemic emergency), three were registered yesterday, while others refer to previous days. Of the current positives, 401 patients are hospitalized with symptoms, while 21 patients are in intensive care. This is the breakdown of the new cases on a provincial basis: 305 in Palermo, 245 in Catania, 282 in Messina, 110 in Ragusa, 102 in Trapani, 128 in Syracuse, 59 in Caltanissetta, 124 in Agrigento and 32 in Enna.
