Fettuccine alla Trebulana, the festival in Monteleone Sabino

A weekend dedicated to taste in Monteleone Sabino to rediscover the ancient and simple taste of homemade pasta. From 6 to 7 August in the small village (formerly known as Trebula Motuesca), lying 500 meters high on the southern offshoots of the Sabine Mountains, the Fettuccine alla Trebulana festival is held. The recipe, handed down orally for centuries, includes a skilfully hand-rolled pastry and a seasoning rich in ingredients (from bacon to mushrooms, from tomatoes to peas) that vary according to the family traditions of those who prepare them.
