Hours and hours in front of cell phones and PCs and visual disturbances are becoming more and more frequent among Italians. However, ocular fatigue can also be a symptom of other diseases and for this reason it is essential for those who suffer from it to always contact a specialist. A thorough visit to a specialized ophthalmologist actually helps prevent the disease from worsening, which can become chronic and be associated with many other more annoying ailments, including headaches in its various forms. Fortunately, there are several techniques to relieve eye fatigue: use of artificial tears, thanks to which it will be possible to lubricate the ocular surface; use of lighting suited to the work environment, decreasing the pressure deriving from effort or the use of glasses suitable for our eye.
