Covid today Emilia Romagna, 463 infections: 10 August bulletin

There are 463 new coronavirus infections in Emilia Romagna according to data from today’s bulletin, 10 August. There have been no deaths in the past 24 hours. In total, there have been 13,290 deaths in the region since the start of the covid-19 outbreak. Since yesterday, 27,115 swabs have been processed, the positivity rate is 1.7%. The average age of the new cases is 35.4 years. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 88 new cases, Rimini (87) and Modena (85); followed by Reggio Emilia (52) and Piacenza (50). Then Ravenna (39) and Ferrara (26); then Cesena (15), Parma and Forlì (both with 10 new cases). Finally, the Imolese district (1 new case). The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 11,333 (+212 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home are a total of 10,989 (+205), 97% of the total number of active cases. There are 31 patients admitted to intensive care (number unchanged compared to yesterday), 313 those in the other Covid departments (+7). On the territory, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 2 in Parma (-1 compared to yesterday), 2 in Reggio Emilia (unchanged), 6 in Modena (unchanged), 12 in Bologna (+1), 1 in Imola (unchanged), 6 in Ferrara (+1), 2 in Rimini (unchanged). No hospitalization in Forlì (-1 compared to yesterday), nor in Piacenza, Ravenna and Cesena. Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age. At 3 pm a total of 5,369,056 doses were administered; out of the total, 2,473,995 people have completed the vaccination cycle.
