They simulated road accidents by procuring people in precarious economic conditions, in some cases minors, bruises, abrasions or even breaking of teeth or injuries to limbs in order to support claims from insurance companies. This is what was discovered in the context of the investigations by the Avellino Public Prosecutor’s Office which culminated in the execution of an order by the investigating judge of the Irpinia Tribunal applying 11 precautionary measures against as many suspects for crimes of criminal association aimed at fraud against the institution of insurance and material and ideological falsehood committed by the public official in public documents.
