It occurs when very high temperatures are recorded for several consecutive days, often associated with high humidity, strong solar radiation and lack of ventilation. These climatic conditions can pose a health risk. For example, if the humidity is very high, sweat does not evaporate quickly and body heat is not eliminated effectively. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures can cause minor ailments, such as cramps, fainting, edema, congestion, heat stroke, dehydration.
