Envelope with bullets addressed to the Pope in the post office

An envelope with three bullets, addressed to Pope Francis, was found in Peschiera Borromeo, in the Milanese area. Tonight the carabinieri of the Paullo station intervened at the sorting center where the manager, a 57-year-old Italian, reported the presence of an envelope, with French postage, containing 3 cartridges, presumably of a pistol, without sender and destined, with writing in pen and not very legible in ‘The Pope – Vatican City, Piazza S. Pietro in Rome’. The envelope comes from France and was seized for subsequent technical surveys. Investigations are ongoing.
