Angela Celentano, new appeal from parents to ‘Who has seen it?’

New appeal from Angela Celentano’s parents to those who saw it. She disappeared 26 years ago, when she was three, for Maria and Catello her daughter is alive and she may have been kidnapped “for illegal adoption”. “We hope for a miracle, one day we will meet again”, said Angela Celentano’s parents, launching a campaign on social groups frequented by those looking for their origins. “Help us get the appeal all over the world”, they added in the episode aired yesterday, Wednesday, June 8. A flyer, in Italian and English, summarizes her story and shows her photos. And they offer a further clue, to her and to those who know her: “She has a coffee stain on the right side of the back “. On the morning of August 10, 1996, Angela Celentano, a 3-year-old girl, participates with her parents, a housewife and a worker, and 40 other people, in the annual trip to Monte Faito. Suddenly, shortly after 1pm, Angela’s father realizes that his daughter is no longer there to play, we read on the website of Who has seen it. Renato, an 11-year-old boy, tells of having gone down the path he leads to the parking lot, to put his ball in the car. He begged Angela not to follow him, but the little girl was not persuaded. Halfway down the slope the path crosses with another cross: here Renato repeated to Angela to go back to her mother, so he continued her descent alone. Leaving the ball in the car, he returned to the rest of the community without meeting anyone. All those present, relatives, friends and volunteers, began to look for Angela in all directions. The area is very crowded, there are many day-trippers, but no one seems to have seen it. In the following days, while her parents never leave the place of her disappearance, the Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza, the Police, the Army, dog units and helicopters also intervene, under the direction of the Prefecture of Naples. Finally, the investigators are convinced that Angela can no longer be in that area.The Carabinieri of Vico Equense listen to the testimony of those present at the trip, they repeatedly concern the images of the film shot shortly before Angela’s disappearance, which portrays her playing with the other children and with their parents. Many reports arrive, almost all anonymous, houses and villas in the area are searched. On August 19, a phone call arrives at Angela’s house in which only a desperate cry of a child is heard. A mysterious witness invites us to search for the explanation of her disappearance within the Evangelical Community. A month later the Carabinieri make an interesting discovery. Another child – Luca, 12 years old – tells of having met Renato that day with Angela while he was climbing the path. Luca says he invited his friend to bring the child back to her mother, offering himself to do so. Renato would not have listened to him, and would have continued to go down with Angela towards the parking lot. Luca claims he never told this detail because everyone knew that the last to have seen the child was Renato himself. Renato’s version contrasts with what Luca says, for this reason the two children were compared and questioned separately in the presence of the magistrates, but in the end their positions remained the same and always conflicting.
