Red Cross: “Two ambulances stolen, one used for a theft”

The other night two ambulances of the Valmontone Italian Red Cross Committee were stolen. This was reported by volunteers who were warned of the theft by the police. “A theft was also carried out with one of the two stolen ambulances”, says Patrizio Fanfoni, president of the CRI Committee of Valmontone. “Then the thieves brought it back to the severely damaged parking lot and stole the other vehicle, even entering the office and stealing an electric wheelchair. This is a very serious episode that leaves us disconcerted as well as harms us because we don’t have more than an ambulance. Episodes like this that hit the Red Cross damage the entire community in the area. We hope that the perpetrators of the theft will soon be identified and that there is the possibility of regaining possession of the means that were stolen from us “.
