Green pass, entry into Italy is free from today: what changes

From today, Wednesday 1 June, there will be no more Green Pass to enter Italy. This means that, both for Italians returning to our country and for tourists arriving to spend the holidays, it is no longer necessary to show the green certificate. In the meantime, on May 16, the obligation regarding Europe, but not Italy and Germany, to wear a mask for those traveling by plane also fell. In our country the obligation remains in force until June 15, in Germany until September 23, according to an update of the safety measures for travel, published by the European Union Agency for Aviation Safety (Easa) and from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (Ecdc), the protective device will no longer be mandatory on flights in the European Union and at airports, even if “the mask remains one of the best defenses against the transmission of Covid-19 “, and using it is strongly recommended for those who cough or sneeze, as well as for all frail people.
June 15 is another important deadline for anti-Covid measures. Except for a possible extension, that day the mask obligation will also expire in the places still subject to this rule, such as means of transport. But, on the possibility that from that date the use of this safety device will be completely abandoned, the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza intervened stating that “there is no decision already taken”.
