Two cases of monkeypox were diagnosed by the virology laboratory of San Matteo in Pavia. According to the vice-president and councilor for Welfare of the Lombardy Region, it is an Italian patient visited at San Gerardo in Monza, who was discharged and returned to his home where he observes the period of quarantine and a foreign tourist housed in a hotel, for which, due to epidemiological reasons, hospitalization at the Milan Polyclinic was preferred. Both patients are in good condition and are being followed up by the healthcare staff.
