Covid today Emilia Romagna, 669 infections: 5 August bulletin

There are 669 new coronavirus infections in Emilia Romagna according to data from today’s bulletin, 5 August. There have been no deaths in the past 24 hours. Since yesterday 20,504 swabs have been processed, the positivity rate is 3.3%. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Modena with 113 new cases and Rimini with 112; followed by Bologna (91) and Reggio Emilia (82). Then Ferrara (57) and Parma (51); then Piacenza (48), Ravenna (46) and Cesena (32). Finally, Forlì (19) and the Imolese district (18). As regards the total number of people healed, they are 266 more than yesterday and reach 374,717. The active cases to date are 9,002 (+403 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home are a total of 8,711 (+388). The total number of deaths remains unchanged at 13,286. There are 24 patients admitted to intensive care (+2 compared to yesterday), 267 those in the other Covid departments (+13). In the area, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 1 in Parma (unchanged compared to yesterday), 2 in Reggio Emilia (+1), 3 in Modena (unchanged), 9 in Bologna (-1), 2 in Imola (+1), 3 in Ferrara (unchanged), 4 in Rimini (+1). No hospitalization in Piacenza, Ravenna, Forlì and Cesena, while the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age. A total of 5,222,364 doses were administered: out of the total, 2,405,101 people completed the vaccination cycle.
