Covid Puglia, today 591 infections and 23 deaths: May 14 bulletin

There are 591 new coronavirus infections today May 14 in Puglia, according to the data of the latest bulletin. There are another 23 deaths. In detail, out of 9,827 swabs for coronavirus infection, 591 positive cases were detected: 131 in the province of Bari, 79 in the province of Brindisi, 109 in the province of Bat, 49 in the province of Foggia, 138 in the province of Lecce, 86 in the province of Taranto, 1 case of resident outside the region, 2 cases of unknown province of residence were reclassified and attributed. Yesterday there were 554 new cases out of 9,160 tests. 23 deaths were recorded: 7 in the province of Bari, 2 in the province of Brindisi, 1 in the province of Bat, 3 in the province of Foggia, 3 in the province of Lecce, 7 in the province of Taranto. Yesterday the dead were 31. In all 6,243 people lost their lives. Since the beginning of the emergency 2,363,894 tests have been carried out. 199,894 patients recovered while yesterday they were 198,273 (+1,621). The currently positive cases are 39,241 while yesterday they were 40,295. The hospitalized patients are 1,321 while yesterday they were 1,383 (-62). The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia since the beginning of the emergency is 245,378 divided as follows: 93,236 in the province of Bari; 24,474 in the province of Bat; 18,628 in the province of Brindisi; 43,984 in the province of Foggia; 25,413 in the province of Lecce; 38,482 in the province of Taranto; 786 attributed to residents outside the region; 375 province of residence not known.
