The financiers of Gico and the Carabinieri del Ros of Naples have carried out, between the provinces of Naples, Caserta and L’Aquila, a decree for the seizure of movable, immovable and financial assets for a value of approximately 6.5 million euros in respect of of a building contractor believed to be affiliated with the Camorra clan of the Casalesi Zagaria faction. The provision was issued by the Section for preventive measures of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere at the request of the Dda of Naples. The entrepreneur, currently detained, originally from Casapesenna (Caserta) but permanently domiciled in Caserta, is definitively condemned for mafia association and was involved in the investigation conducted by the Ros dei Carabinieri called “Medea System” directed by the Naples Public Prosecutor and concluded on July 14, 2015, with the execution of a precautionary detention order in prison. The economic and patrimonial investigations carried out by the Gico have made it possible to identify a substantial patrimony of the entrepreneur and the members of his family, not justified with respect to the income and economic activities declared. The seizure, in particular, concerns 33 properties, of which 26 located in the province of Caserta, 6 in the province of Naples and one in the province of L’Aquila, 4 land in the province of Naples, 3 companies based in the province of Caserta operating in the construction and real estate sector, 5 motor vehicles and financial reports.
