Today’s Covid Italy bulletin, Tuesday 3 August 2021, with data and news from the Civil Protection – region by region – on infections, hospitalizations, deaths from Lombardy, Tuscany, Veneto, Lazio, Campania and Sicily. In view of the launch of the green pass – mandatory from 6 August – here are the numbers related to the Delta variant in the regions and cities: from Rome to Milan, from Naples to Turin. The data of the regions: TUSCANY There are 326 coronavirus infections in Tuscany today, 3 August 2021, according to the data of the region bulletin anticipated by the governor Eugenio Giani. No deaths are recorded “The new cases registered in Tuscany are 326 out of 12,655 tests of which 6,832 molecular swabs and 5,823 rapid tests. The rate of new positives is 2.58% (5.6% on the first diagnoses)”, writes Giani on social, adding that the vaccines currently administered are 4,158,100. The new cases (317 confirmed with molecular swab and 9 by rapid antigen test) are 0.1% more than the total of the previous day. The healed grew by 0.1% and reached 238,521 (94.1% of total cases). The currently positive are today 8,013, + 2% compared to yesterday. There are 193 hospitalized (14 more than yesterday), of which 23 in intensive care (3 more). PUGLIAS There are 213 coronavirus infections in Puglia today, 3 August 2021, according to data from the region’s bulletin. One dead recorded. The new cases were identified on 11,623 tests: 31 in the province of Bari, 27 in the province of Brindisi, 31 in the province of BAT, 25 in the province of Foggia, 61 in the province of Lecce, 36 in the province of Taranto, 3 cases of residents outside region. 1 case of unknown province of residence was reclassified and attributed. There are 2,585 cases that are currently positive. 94 patients are hospitalized for covid.
