There are 50 coronavirus infections in Friuli Venezia Giulia today, 1 August 2021, according to data from the region’s bulletin. There have been no deaths since yesterday. 40 new cases were detected on 1,769 molecular swabs with a positive percentage of 2.26%. There are also 1,745 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 10 cases (0.57%) were detected. From the analysis of the data it emerges that 60% of new infections concern people under the age of 29. Today there are no deaths; three people are hospitalized in intensive care, while 16 people are being treated in other wards. The total deaths amount to 3,790, with the following territorial subdivision: 813 in Trieste, 2.012 in Udine, 672 in Pordenone and 293 in Gorizia. The totally recovered are 103,548, the clinically recovered 43, while those in isolation are 684. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 108,084 people have been positive (the total number of cases has been reduced by one unit following the revision of a case in the Udine area) with the following territorial subdivision: 21,429 in Trieste, 50,642 in Udine, 21,440 in Pordenone, 13,150 in Gorizia and 1,423 from outside the region. residential facilities for the elderly in the region, as well as within the Fvg health system.
