Over 500,000 fake ‘Made in Italy’ telephone items and accessories, produced and imported from China, were seized by the Turin Finance Police who denounced an Italian entrepreneur for fraud in the trade and sale of industrial products with misleading signs. The goods, if placed on the market, would have yielded a profit of about 5 million euros. The investigations, launched after the financiers noticed on the shelves of some shops in the Turin area, telephone accessories advertised as products of Italian origin but entirely made in Asia, made it possible to identify in Lombardy the warehouse from which the goods came and where they were found. battery chargers, protective glasses for mobile phones, earphones, cases ready to be sold with the national seal.
