Covid, Ratzinger’s secretary is positive

The private secretary of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, Msgr. Georg Gänswein, tested positive for Covid. The German Catholic News Agency reports this. Father Gerorg has been in solitary confinement since April 11, he confirmed today, adding that on Easter Sunday, following a second test, he was still positive. All other residents of the Mater Ecclesiae monastery, including Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI who just turned 95, tested negative, Gänswein assured.
