“A vademecum for the management of people with diabetes arriving from Ukraine aimed at ensuring continuity of care, as diabetes is a chronic disease that requires careful monitoring and adherence to therapies”. This was underlined by the Diabetic Doctors Association (AMD) and the Italian Diabetes Society (Sid), who “hope for an immediate resolution of the conflict that afflicts the Ukrainian population”. In addition to the document, addressed to all the structures and subjects involved in the reception of refugees, a questionnaire was prepared for the evaluation of the state of the pathology and the degree of urgency of taking charge and dedicated e-mail addresses.
