Taranto tries to kill his wife in front of his daughter and kills himself by jumping from the window

When his wife fell asleep hugging her 6-year-old daughter who was in bed with them, she grabbed some scissors and tried to kill her. The injured woman managed to pick up the child in her arms and rush into the street with her other 12-year-old son, down two floors of stairs. Once out of the house, mom and daughter saw the man fall out of the fifth floor window and die instantly. It happened during the night in Taranto. The couple had been to a wedding together shortly before. The 39-year-old woman has deep cuts in her throat and shoulder but is out of danger. The man, perhaps in the throes of a fit, waited for his wife to fall asleep next to him, then knelt beside the bed and hit his wife several times with a pair of scissors. The man, already known to justice and on whom investigations are underway to understand if he suffered from mental problems, died instantly. His wife, rushed to the hospital, will be fine. On the spot the steering wheels and the Flying Squad engaged in the investigation.
