Covid today Emilia Romagna, 468 infections: bulletins 24 July

There are 468 coronavirus infections in Emilia Romagna today, July 24, 2021, according to data from the region’s bulletin. There have been no deaths since yesterday. The new cases were detected on a total of 24,306 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 1.9%. The average age of new positives today is 31. Of the 134 asymptomatic, 75 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 32 through tests for the risk categories introduced by the Region, 6 with serological screenings, 7 through pre-hospitalization tests. An epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 14 cases. There are 9 patients admitted to intensive care (stable compared to yesterday), 150 those in the other Covid departments (+6). 7,795 molecular swabs were performed in the last 24 hours, for a total of 5,170,921. In addition to these, there are also 16,511 rapid swabs. As for the total people healed, they are 65 more than yesterday and reach 373,276. The active cases, that is the actual patients, are currently 4,309 (+403 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, total 4,150 (+397), 96% of the total number of active cases.
