Covid today Emilia Romagna, 447 infections: July 22 bulletin

There are 447 coronavirus infections in Emilia Romagna today, July 22, according to data from the region’s bulletin. Since yesterday there have been 2 deaths. The new cases were detected on a total of 20,346 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 2.2%. The average age of new positives today is 30.9 years. In the last 24 hours, 9,796 molecular swabs were performed, for a total of 5,154,168. To these are added 10,550 rapid swabs. Of the 102 asymptomatic, 68 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 21 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region and 3 with serological screening. An epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 10 cases. There are 12 patients admitted to intensive care (-1 compared to yesterday), 139 those in the other Covid departments (-2). As for the total people healed, they are 149 more than yesterday and reach 373,133. The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 3,511 (+296 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, total 3,360 (+299), 95.7% of all active cases.
