Voghera, legal victim: “Killed for no reason by a murderer”

“Things have to be said as they are: Youns was killed by a murderer for no reason”. This was stated by Debora Piazza, the lawyer who with Marco Romagnoli defends the family members of Youns El Boussetaoui, the 39-year-old Moroccan citizen who died Tuesday evening after being shot by Massimo Adriatici, councilor for security of the Municipality of Voghera and exponent of the League. Speaking with Adnkronos Piazza he denounced “a very serious violation of the right of defense: an autopsy was performed on Youns’ body without his family being informed. It has been said that he had no family, but that is not true. All his relatives are Italian citizens ”. So, he continues, “we will appoint a biased consultant, also for a ballistic exam”. Meanwhile, “we continue the search for witnesses. We’re at a good point. Let’s look for the truth and we will find it ”, he promises. Recently Youns El Boussetaoui“ was sick. Family members were worried and had him admitted to hospital, from which he had escaped. He wanted to stay in Piazza Meardi. He certainly had some problems, but the institutions had to intervene. He had to be treated, not killed, ”says the lawyer Piazza. “I had known Youns for some time – he tells Adnkronos – I defended him for about five years for a series of bagatellar crimes”.
