Covid today Sicily, 550 infections and 9 deaths: 21 July bulletin

There are 550 new coronavirus infections in Sicily according to today’s bulletin, 21 July. Also recorded 9 other deaths. 14,234 swabs processed, the current positives rise to 6,191. The island is third in Italy for new daily infections after Lazio and Lombardy. There were 150 healed in a single day, the total number of victims is 6,019 since the beginning of the health emergency. Of the current positives, 165 patients are hospitalized with symptoms, while 20 patients are in intensive care (no new admissions compared to yesterday). This is the breakdown of the new cases on a provincial basis: 60 in Palermo, 36 in Catania, 4 in Messina, 175 in Ragusa, 29 in Trapani, 19 in Syracuse, 103 in Caltanissetta, 98 in Agrigento and 26 in Enna.
