Green pass Italy, fines on arrival if mandatory

Compulsory green pass in Italy and fines on arrival. So far we are only in the field of hypotheses, but in these hours the possibility is increasingly taking hold that the government introduces the obligation of the green covid-19 certification for some activities and that this is accompanied by some rather hefty penalties for those who violate the rules . Whoever does not have the Green pass inside a bar or restaurant, explains laleggepertutti.it, will risk a 400 euro fine, reduced to 260 euro if he pays the fine within five days. And there are always five days of closure for the manager of the restaurant who welcomes a customer without the document that certifies the double vaccination, the recovery from the coronavirus or the negative swab. In reality, the Green pass must not be requested only for a coffee or pizza: the government decree also affects swimming pools, gyms, stadiums, cinemas, theaters, discos and, as the Ministry of Health points out, “all those places where crowding facilitates the spread of the virus “. It means that those who go to train or go for a swim without a Green pass risk a 400 euro fine, as well as those who go to dance or see a game, a concert, a show, a film without a certificate. Among other things, and according to what the ministry declares, the obligation of the Green pass will be valid both outdoors and indoors, since the document must be requested in all places where gatherings. Therefore, the constraint is foreseen for an indoor sports center as for an outdoor swimming pool, for a concert in a theater as for a show in the square. The Green pass will have an added value this summer on two other fronts. The first, that of travel abroad, although this certification may not be enough: some countries require other health documents to be presented on arrival, which change depending on the destination. Those who do not have these certificates will be sent back, but above all, having the Green pass will be essential in view of the new measures that will be taken at the local level. In August, some regions will turn yellow again, and not just because of the sun. Which and why will be decided on the basis of new parameters that will take into account, in particular the number of hospitalizations in intensive care. Numbers that increase dangerously especially among the youngest, from twelve to those who have not yet turned 30. In practice, among those who have not yet had the vaccine but participate in parties, celebrations and various gatherings without too much restraint. It goes without saying that returning to the yellow zone will entail, among other things, the return to the evening curfew, the obligation of the mask outdoors, to the limitations for public places. In this context, the Green pass could have some advantages for free circulation. All in a scenario that will see an extension of the state of emergency no longer until autumn but until December 31st.
