The coroner: “Two shots to the heart and neck to kill Willy”

There were two shots that killed Willy Monteiro Duarte on the night between 5 and 6 September: “one in the heart, the other in the neck”. To tell the Adnkronos is Professor Saverio Potenza, leaving the courtroom of the Assize Court of Frosinone where he has just given testimony in the hearing of the trial for the murder of the 21-year-old. He was the one who performed the autopsy. “Willy received a posterior trauma to his neck, which caused the carotid trauma – he explains – one posterior thoracic and at least two abdominal ones”. Only hypotheses, according to the coroner himself, are those advanced by the defense of the accused on a possible previous pathology of the victim. “Willy was healthy as a fish – says the professor – These are only hypotheses: the macroscopic examination and the autopsy examination excluded him”.
