Milan, patient stabs a doctor at the San Donato Polyclinic

A 75-year-old man stabbed a surgeon at the San Donato Polyclinic, in the province of Milan, and was arrested by the carabinieri for attempted murder. The man, an Italian citizen residing in San Donato Milanese with a history of threat and insult, had been visited a month ago and was undergoing a check-up today. Not feeling satisfied with the doctor’s words, he attacked him, hitting him in the thigh with a kitchen knife and injuring his femoral artery. The doctor was rushed to the operating room in red code. At the moment he is hospitalized in a reserved prognosis, not in danger of life.
