A summer break is coming, what awaits us

A ‘summer breaks’ vortex is coming, ready to give a first push to the African anticyclone. After a long warm, sometimes hot, interlude, starting from tomorrow Tuesday 13 July – the team of iLMeteo.it knows – in our Northwest regions already in the morning there will be numerous showers even with a thunderstorm background, ready to move quickly towards the rest of the North in the day. The risk of intense phenomena accompanied by local storms and hailstorms will also increase in these areas. On the rest of Italy, the weather scenario will still be devoted to warm atmospheric stability, but it won’t last long. In fact, between Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15, the cyclonic vortex will move towards the central regions with a high wave of storms and hail. Weather still often unstable in the North, especially in the eastern regions where afternoon thunderstorms will always be possible. Bad weather will also lead to a general drop in temperature: first in the North, then by Thursday also in the Center and finally in the South as well, the mercury column may drop by as much as 10 ° C compared to the previous days. Today – In the north: thunderstorms are coming in the western Alps, sunny elsewhere. Middle: good weather prevailing. South: sunny. Tuesday 13 July – In the north: numerous storms with hail, possible violent phenomena. Center: worsens with thunderstorms from Tuscany to Umbria and then the internal Marche, local to Lazio. South: sunny and warm. Wednesday 14 July – In the north: markedly unstable with scattered thunderstorms alternating with sunny spaces. Middle: mainly dry. In the south: sunny. From Thursday the weather is still unstable and much less hot everywhere.
