Covid vaccines, the report: average exceeded 500 thousand doses per day

Anti-covid vaccines and administrations in Italy, compared to a week ago the weekly report of the Structure of the Extraordinary Commissioner Figliuolo, updated at 4pm today and published on the Government website, shows an increase in administrations at national level of approximately 4 million translates into a daily average of well over 500 thousand. In terms of vaccine supplies, in the last week the total number of doses made available to the Regions / Autonomous Provinces has grown by 4,132,326 units, for a total of over 63 million since the beginning of the campaign (63,046,571). Meanwhile, the number of administrations carried out since the beginning of the vaccination campaign rose to 56.3 million (56,305,683 to be exact). The people who have completed the vaccination cycle are 22,695,367. The graphs of the report confirm the trend of last week, with a clear decrease in hospitalizations and admissions in intensive care, in the face of the increase in administrations.

As regards the priority categories, the percentage of fully vaccinated school and university staff has grown from 72.86% to 77.17%, while health personnel who have completed their cycle reached 92.89% (a week ago it was 89.02%). The percentages of people over sixty years of age who have completed the vaccination cycle also significantly increase, thus obtaining maximum coverage even with respect to the Covid19 variants: the over 80s go from 86.67% 89.02% of the audience to be vaccinated; the 70-79 range from 59.44% to 69.86% (over 10 points more), and finally the 60-69 range from 48.84% to 56.35.
