Covid today Fvg, 19 infections: bulletin 8 July 2021

There are 19 coronavirus infections in Friuli Venezia Giulia today, 8 July 2021, according to data from the region’s bulletin. Out of 3,259 molecular swabs, 18 new infections were detected – most of them migrants, 11 in the province of Trieste and 1 in the province of Udine – with a positive percentage of 0.55%. There are also 753 rapid antigenic tests performed, from which 1 case (0.13%) was detected. 62% of new infections concern people whose age is less than 29 years. Today there are no deaths; one person is hospitalized in intensive care, while patients in other departments drop to 5, says the deputy governor with responsibility for health, Riccardo Riccardi. The total deaths amounted to 3,789. The totally healed are 103,051, the clinically recovered 8, while those in isolation are 197. Finally, there are no positive results among the staff of the regional health system or among the guests and operators of residential facilities for the elderly.
