Covid today Sicily, 58 infections: 5 July bulletin

There are 58 coronavirus infections in Sicily today, 5 July 2021, according to data from the Civil Protection bulletin on the region. No deaths have been recorded since yesterday. New cases were detected on 7,803 swabs processed. The current positives are 3,578 (15 more than yesterday). The Region is in third place together with Emilia Romagna for the number of daily infections, behind Lazio and Campania. There were 43 healed in a single day, while there were no victims. Of the current positives, 140 hospitalized patients with symptoms, while 17 patients are in intensive care.
