Covid today Abruzzo, 7 infections: 5 July bulletin

Coronavirus infections in Abruzzo are 7 (aged between 16 and 70 years) today, 5 July, according to data from the region’s bulletin. No deaths have been recorded since yesterday. The total of cases since the beginning of the emergency at 74,956. The number of positive cases also includes 71569 discharged / healed (+43 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total of positives) are 875 (-36 compared to yesterday). 23 patients (+2 compared to yesterday) were hospitalized in the medical area; 1 (unchanged compared to yesterday with no new admissions) in intensive care, while the other 851 (-38 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the Asl. In the last 24 hours, 1108 molecular swabs were performed (1200474 in total since the beginning of the emergency) and 372 antigen tests (520233). The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 0.47 percent. Of the total number of positive cases, 19068 are resident or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (unchanged compared to yesterday), 19488 in the province of Chieti (+1), 18187 in the province of Pescara (+1), 17507 in the province of Teramo (+ 5), 586 outside the region (+1) and 120 (-1) for which provenance checks are underway.
