A school was the first target of Russian missiles in Kyiev. Nadiia Prystupa, director and owner of the Cambridge center, wife of a Ukrainian army colonel at the front, has no doubts: “the Russians never do anything by chance. Nadiia, contacted by telephone by Adnkronos, remembers the days when she rushed from Chernivtsi, a relatively safe place in the west of the country, to Kiev to join her two children, aged 20 and 4. “Kiev was hell. From the military base where we normally live, we moved to the underground station, where we lived for three days. On the 27th around 5 am our school was bombed. Fortunately there was no one there. . So I moved to Lviv “. Since then, in Lviv, Nadiia has been organizing coaches to transport the displaced from Kyiev. The daughter is instead in Italy where she arrived from Poland: “initially I took her there, then I entrusted her to friends who took her to Italy and I returned here to Lviv. I am the wife of an officer my family is the target of the Russians – he is keen to underline – My son is still here in Ukraine, he studies at an international university in Warsaw at a distance because he cannot leave the country, he could be called up and my husband instead …. I have no idea where he is now, all I know is that he is alive. “What about his school? “The lessons resumed last Monday online with some professors in Germany, Moldova, Poland, the others in Lviv. But only 30% of the students have started again. Consider that we manage 300 students in Kiev and 3000 candidates on the other 50 centers in Ukraine. to the overall final tests per year. The point is – he explains – that as far as lessons are concerned, only those who are in safe places attend and have the possibility to pay.
