Florence, the Uffizi are asking for a tax on sandwiches

The director of the Uffizi Galleries, Eike Schmidt, has proposed putting a ‘tax on the sandwich’ for fast food restaurants that do not offer tables to customers, forcing them to eat on the street. the tax will then be used to clean the city of dirt and litter left by people who eat on the street.
