Telephony and expenses, here are the virtuous Regions

‘Hot’ phones in Puglia, which is the most ‘spendthrift’ region in terms of fixed telephone costs. This is said by the Administrative Gazette Foundation of the Italian Republic, in the rating of public spending carried out for Adnkronos as part of the ‘Pitagora’ project. Sifting through the tables (the complete ones are available on the website www.adnkronos.com) it turns out that the structures of the Region governed by Michele Emiliano in 2020 spent 3 million 240 thousand euros on fixed telephony, compared to the 847,382 euros spent in 2019: a disbursement judged by the Gari Foundation as “out of control” because it would exceed by more than 100% the average expenditure of the reference parameter for that body, in relation to the item of expenditure in question. For this reason Puglia is assigned a ‘C’ rating, the lowest. The sum disbursed by Abruzzo for fixed telephony (601,985 euros), an expense performance evaluated with a ‘B’, is also under the magnifying glass. At the top of the ranking we find the ‘virtuous’ Regions and therefore rewarded with a triple ‘A’, since the amount spent is considered by the algorithm of the Research Center of the Administrative Gazette as “less than or equal” to the reference average for that single institution . We are talking about: Basilicata, which in 2020 spent 17,745 euros on fixed telephone bills; Liguria (41,532 euros); Lombardy (160,026 euros); Sicily (171,223 euros); Veneto (103,618 euros). Marche (88,928 euros) and Tuscany (180,119 euros) also did well, earning a double ‘A’.
