Covid today Abruzzo, 50 infections: 1 July bulletin

Coronavirus infections in Abruzzo are 50 (aged between 8 and 77 years) today, 1 July, according to data from the region’s bulletin. No deaths have been recorded since yesterday. The new cases bring the total since the beginning of the emergency to 74,874. The total is lower as 3 cases previously communicated have been eliminated and the results reported to another Region. The number of positive cases also includes 71,478 discharged / healed (+38 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total of positives) are 884 (+9 compared to yesterday). 24 patients (-1 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in the medical area; 1 (unchanged compared to yesterday with no new entry) in intensive care, while the other 859 (+10 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. In the last 24 hours, 2,954 molecular swabs and 1,654 antigen tests were performed. The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 1.08 percent.
