The epidemiological parameters of Covid-19 incidence and Rt continue to drop in Italy. In particular, the incidence this week stands at 672 per 100,000 inhabitants, compared to 962 per 100,000 inhabitants last week. As regards the average Rt index calculated on symptomatic cases, in the period January 26-February 8, it is equal to 0.77 (range 0.72-0.88), a decrease compared to the previous week and below the threshold epidemic. This is what emerges from the monitoring data of the SarS-Cov-2 epidemiological trend, which emerged from the examination of the control room, and disseminated by the Higher Institute of Health (Iss).
