Migrants, shipwreck off the coast of Lampedusa: 5 dead

Shipwreck off the coast of Lampedusa where at least five migrants would have died. The boat they were on capsized a few miles from the island. Coast Guard patrol boats intervened and recovered about fifty survivors. In Lampedusa there was a new landing of 256 people. All the migrants, who arrived aboard various boats and landed between night and dawn, were taken to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district.
