Amara case, Davigo on trial for disclosure of official secret

The Brescia GUP Federica Brugnara has indicted the former member of the CSM Piercamillo Davigo accused of revealing official secrecy for having disclosed the minutes of Piero Amara, a former external lawyer of Eni, on the alleged lodge Hungary. The decision came after three preliminary hearings, an hour in the council chamber and exactly 30 years after the arrest of Mario Chiesa who opened the season of Mani Pulite and the pool of magistrates of which Davigo was one of the best known faces. In the courtroom the former magistrate engaged in Pisa for a conference on Tangentopoli was not present, even the trusted defender Francesco Borasi was absent. The first hearing of the trial is set for next April 20 in front of the first criminal section. “Davigo will defend himself strongly,” lawyer Borasi told Adnkronos.
