Covid today Lombardy, 6,516 infections and 45 deaths. In Milan 1,921 cases

There are 6,516 new infections from Coronavirus today, 12 February 2022 in Lombardy, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday there have been 45 deaths which brings the total number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic to 37,972. In the last 24 hours 84,039 swabs were processed, both molecular and antigenic, with a positive percentage of 7.75%. According to data published by the Region, there are 2,048 hospitalized patients in the medical area, 113 fewer than yesterday. While 173 Covid patients are in intensive care, one less than yesterday, for a total of 2,221 hospitalized. The percentage of occupancy of beds by Covid patients in the medical area is currently at 19.58% in the Region, while the percentage of occupancy of intensive care has fallen below the critical threshold of 10% (9.56%). In the region there are currently 189,628 people in isolation and the 2 million mark has been discharged / recovered since the beginning of the pandemic. As for the new infections in the provinces they are: 1,921 in the last 24 hours in Milan, 564 in Bergamo, 918 in Brescia, 462 in Como, 226 in Cremona, 202 in Lecco, 122 in Lodi, 338 in Mantua, 509 in Monza Brianza , 368 in Pavia, 94 in Sondrio and 533 in Varese.
