Behind the plays, behind the books, there are people with their stories and the strength of art lies in transforming a number into a person. We are not committed to hospitality but to the safety that visibility presupposes. I appeal to Europe: discuss, divide but save people from the sea. “” The sixth edition – commented Filippo Mulè, president of the Occhiblu Onlus Association which organizes the three days – represents an important milestone in our cultural and moral journey and sentimental. We want to continue to tell and remember, starting from beauty and the values of solidarity, dialogue and social commitment. Returning to the traditional date of July, after having come to terms with the health emergency that forced us to move the 2020 edition to last September, is news that gives us strength and pushes us to continue a project that has collected wide acclaim and managed to catapult many personalities from journalism, theater, music, sport and literature to the last strip of Europe. Many other characters, women and men who are committed every day beyond all languages and borders, will take to our stage this year. Taking back what belongs to us means participating in the relaunch and restart, after long months of suffering and uncertainty.
