Milan, child rushed to school: teacher sentenced to one year

The Italian teacher accused of manslaughter in the shortened trial for the dead child falling down the stairs of the ‘Pirelli’ school in via Goffredo da Bussero in Milan in October 2019 was sentenced to one year, suspended sentence. Gup Elisabetta Meyer decided by accepting the request of the public prosecutor Maria Letizia Mocciaro. The two-year plea agreement for the janitor was accepted, while the other accused teacher chose the ordinary rite and for her the trial will begin on 11 July.
