‘A sea of ​​books’ is back, with guests Auci and Alajmo

Back to Terrasini ‘A sea of ​​books’, the literary review organized by the Municipality and now in its sixth edition. Five events, every Thursday (at 7 pm) in July, hosted in the suggestive setting of Palazzo d’Aumale. Stefania Auci will open the exhibition on 1 July with ‘The winter of the Lions (Northern publishing house), the second chapter of the Florio saga. The journalist Adnkronos Elvira Terranova will converse with the writer, already first in the charts. Thursday 8, however, will be the turn of Maria Attanasio and her latest work ‘The splendor of nothing and other stories’ (Sellerio), presented by Agata Bazzi. Roberto Alajmo will be on stage on July 15th. Elvira Terranova will present ‘I did not want to come’ (Sellerio). On the 22nd Commissioner Mineo returns, already a guest of the last edition, protagonist of ‘Il giallo del gallo’ (Solferino), second chapter of the bizarre policeman saga. Andrea Tuttoilmondo, founder of the satirical site “Lor’a Irreverent Daily”, will talk with the author, Francesco Bozzi, one of the authors of Fiorello. It ends on the 29th with the “palore” of the eccentric writer and actor Salvo Piparo. Presenting ‘Lo Scordabolario – The vocabulary of the forgotten palermitane palora’ (Dario Flaccovio Editore) will be Professor Giovanni Ruffino, linguist, dialectologist and ordinary academic of the Accademia della Crusca. “A sea of ​​books” was born in 2016 and immediately established itself as the flagship cultural event of Terrasini. The review, which over the years has hosted the most popular writers of the Italian literary panorama, as well as representing an opportunity to meet the authors of the moment, aims to support the cultural and publishing world. Housed in Palazzo d’Aumale, promoted by the Municipality of Terrasini, with the collaboration of the “Claudio Catalfio” Municipal Library and the editorial coordination of the Mondadori Point via Stabile 233, the sixth edition of “A sea of ​​books” is dedicated to the memory of Anna Gaglio – wife of Franco Cascio, creator and editorial director of the review – died prematurely on 5 June after battling a long illness.
