Dj Aniceto: “We disco angels, demonized as if we were devils”

“It’s really scandalous: we DJs and the world of discos in general are demonized: but I feel I am an angel rather than a devil … and instead we are treated as if each of us were the devil!”. This is the accusation that Dj Aniceto throws through AdnKronos, regarding the obligation to wear a mask even on dance floors and outdoor discos. “Practically, you can go anywhere outdoors without a mask, but not in the disco and on the dance floors: only with us, no! But why ?, asks Roberto ‘Dj’ Aniceto.” Our job is to entertain the people: almost a ‘mission’, basic after more than a year of forced closures and suffering from the pandemic. It is true – he admits – that perhaps in July and August of last summer, perhaps someone from our world got carried away a little by loosening the controls on the measures and perhaps causing an increase in infections.
