The woman, who was waiting for the green certification and was holding the certificate of her doctor certifying the vaccination, was therefore forced to skip the surgery. “My wife had to undergo an urgent operation on Wednesday 12 January at the Gemelli in Rome, because she was suffering from cancer”, her husband Giuseppe tells AdnKronos. “Having had the vaccine on January 7, and therefore the 15 days for the arrival of the green certification have not yet elapsed, we obtained a certificate from our doctor – the man tells us – which attested that she and I, I as a companion because she is 100% disabled, we could leave. ” The couple therefore goes, on January 10, from Cagliari to Olbia to take the ship bound for Civitavecchia. “We went to the port convinced that we could leave. Before going, we had also swabbed for safety”, remembers Giuseppe. The first check is ok, then the two arrive at the boarding. “Under the ship they asked us for the green pass, arguing that everything we had was not enough – he says – They sent us to the ticket office, from there to the captain, and then back to the ticket office. they made us leave “. A hard blow for the couple, who had been waiting for the surgery for some time, for which the patient had already undergone pre-hospitalization and which will now have to be rescheduled at a later date. “We had to go back to Cagliari and my wife made the whole trip in tears”, remembers Giuseppe, who vents his anger and his bitterness: “We are segregated, under house arrest.
