A 59-year-old died this morning following a serious road accident on the provincial road between Petilia Policastro (Crotone) and a fraction of the territory. The man, a school worker, was on his way to work in his Fiat Punto, when for reasons not yet clear he crashed about ten meters from the bridge over the River Soleo. The doctors of 118 intervened on the spot, who could not help but ascertain the death of the 59-year-old. On the man’s body, as decided by the Crotone prosecutor, an autopsy will be performed to ascertain whether the accident was due to an illness that struck the victim.
