There are 16,464 new coronavirus infections today 5 January 2022 in Lazio, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There are another 14 deaths. In Rome, another 7,764 cases of positivity were reported. “Today in Lazio out of a total of 110,297 swabs (32,839 molecular and 77,458 antigenic), there are 16,464 new positive cases (+7,087), 14 deaths (-2), 1,301 hospitalized (+19), 176 intensive care (+13) and +1.209 the healed. The ratio between positives and swabs is 14.9%. In the ASL Roma 4 the registered cases are 719 new cases and no deaths while the deaths are 5 in the ASL Roma 5 with an increase of cases of 1,261. In the ASL Roma 6 there are 3,204 new infections and 1 death. In the provinces there are a total of 3,516 new cases distributed as follows: 959 in the Asl of Frosinone where there is also one death; one death is also counted in the ASL of Latina where the new positives are 1,034. In the ASL of Rieti there are 501 infections and here too there is a victim. No deaths in the ASL of Viterbo which, however, has 1,022 new ones.
